A real pleasant surprise in a tiny little town just south of Margaret River! I had a "Mexican pie" filled w beans, jalapenos, and some magic ingredients -- really super. My wife had an equally delicious toast pesto chicken sandwich. And then we opted for a couple desserts -- the key lime pie is to die for; we haven't started on the other All super scrumptuous and very reasonable price. Nice, funky little place w friendly staff too.
While I appreciate the staff are lovely and that there was a gluten-free vegan option for a pie, it was so bad - there was no sauce, flavouring or seasoning. The filling was simply gloopy pastry, cauliflower and carrot which was cold in parts and falling apart to the touch. There is potential!! I hope the vegan option can be improved in the future. My partner enjoyed his salted caramel brownie.
Extremely disappointing experience here. I'd researched this place weeks ago, marked it out, went out of my way to go, and was really looking forward to visiting.
Upon arriving I noticed that there's no pricing anywhere (that I could see) for any of the things being sold which I think is a bad business practice. I ordered the spinach roll and the veg pastie and both were the worst of each I've ever tried anywhere. Absolutely tasteless and the fillings had weird textures. It's like zero herbs and spices, even salt or pepper, were used in the recipes for either of these. I couldn't eat more than 1 bite of each, a complete waste of money. I can see other people in reviews have complimented these specific items so maybe it was just a bad day but it was a real let down. The service was also unfriendly which I wouldn't have really cared about if the food was good, but that in combination with the rest left a bad taste in my mouth (literally).
We went out for bike ride on the Wadandi Track and took a quick stop at Witchy Pies. They have various kinds of pies, sandwiches and desserts. We had Mexican Pie & Pesto Chicken Croissant and Lime Pie ... Very tasty!!!
Super yummy pies & sausage rolls. The team did a great job at facilitating us in a rather large group for both food and drink orders. Special shout out to the new girl training on the till when we came in. Very impressive in how well she managed the sudden rush of customers and stayed on top of orders. We will be back next time we are in town.
Back from a hike and looking for a great coffee and snack this place will satisfy your tastebuds .
Coffee was great and Miss L said it was the BEST hot chocolate she’s ever had .
Bought an assortment of cakes to share . All tasted great . 👌
Really great GF pies as well as regular ones. For a family with over half coeliacs this kept everyone happy. For me it was the best gluten free pie I’ve ever had and the regular stuff rated highly from others in the family.
We had a chunky pepper pie, vegetarian pie and chocolate eclair. The pies were very under seasoned and bland. Barely any chunks at all in the chunky pie, poor pasty work, lots of gravy and mince and a lump of gristle. Unfortunately, we only took one bite of the eclair and decided we would prefer not to eat it. The mock cream reminded us of shaving foam. The worst I’ve ever had.
